We have ethics approval for this study from the Cambridge East Independent Research Ethics Committee and the Health Research Authority approved the trial (REC reference 19/EE/0354. We are subject to the General Data Protection Regulation.
Sensitive Data we are collecting:
No further personal information will be collected. The data will be transmitted encrypted to the server. We will not collect identifiers which allow us to identify the user. The data will be used by researchers in the team to understand medication adherence in hypertension medication.
Data may be preprocessed and shared more widely with researchers at other institutions in both the UK and overseas. Users can leave the app and delete it at any time. Participants must be 16 years or older. Users can also request that their data is deleted at any time by contacting us at this email address and quoting the ID given to them when they start using the app, though please note that any data already shared with researchers at other institutions will not be deleted from their copies.

The app won't offer any medical advice and it only collects data for research.
